A man has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after he was hit by a police car north of Brisbane.
Emergency services were called to the Burpengary train station shortly after 5pm on Monday after reports of 15 people causing a “disturbance”.
Police believe a 38-year-old man was struck during the altercation by two men, who fled from the scene shortly after.
Officers in a marked police chased the pair onto Burpengary Rd and were blaring lights and sirens when a man allegedly ran onto the road and was hit.
Police provided immediate first aid to the 24-year-old before he was transported to Royal Brisbane Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The forensic crash unit has since launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Police are calling on anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
