A man who held on to the roof rack as his Ford Ranger was stolen has fallen onto the road and is in hospital with a head injury.
Around 7.40pm on Monday a Noranda resident saw an unknown person inside his utility which was parked outside his Camboon Road home.
As the thief drove away, the ute’s owner held on to the Ford’s roof rack.
He later fell from the ute while it was travelling on Emberson Road in Morley and crashed into another vehicle, but the thief did not stop.
Mirrabooka Detectives are searching for the alleged thief who fled the scene in the vehicle.
