Sky News host Cory Berardi says we are surrounded by “invasive technologies”.
“Among the many worrying signs this year has been the expansion of the surveillance state,” Mr Bernardi said.
“We’ve got more cameras and digital tracking devices than ever before.”
Mr Bernardi said the conveniences of the devices come at a price as it “reduces your privacy” and provides big tech and government with “a lot of data”.
“We are truly living in an Orwellian state,” he said.
